Tesco today invites producers across the South East to a Roadshow to seek out new local food lines and to celebrate the region's specialities.
This unique event, at Loseley Park near Guildford, Surrey, is open to all. Producers can talk directly to buyers who want to find the very best that the South East has to offer. Tesco is working closely with the South East Food Group to host the event and offer local producers, however small, support and advice.
The Roadshow also launches Tesco's new local sourcing office for the South East. The buyer, Quentin Sandell, and technical manager, David Humphreys, have specialist regional knowledge. They will be at Loseley Park with Tesco's head of local sourcing, Emily Shamma, and commercial director for fresh foods, Steve Murrells, plus more than 20 members of the Tesco buying and technical teams.
