favino
tic-bean or tick bean,

Explanation:
from my research, there seem to be a number of common names for the Vicia faba minor, including "faba bean", but the one which seems to refer only to the ssp minor if tic(k) bean

agree  SYLVY75: After a quick search, I came to the same conclusion. It's either 'tick bean' or 'faba bean'/'field bean', although the first term is probably the most precise, since it specifically refers to the 'Vicia faba minor' variety.

neutral  Anthony Green: I had included it in my list (hence the comma I failed to remove) but then it seemed still to be slightly generic for all the varieties of V. faba, though I am not 100% sure of that!

Explanation:
Così normalmente traducevamo noi studenti di Agraria (sull'esempio di testi più autorevoli di noi) il termine "favino" o fava da foraggio.

La fava viceversa è "broad bean" o "fava bean".

Reference information:
There are so many English variants on naming this plant - not to mention genetic variants - it might be best to use its Latin name if the text is not 'market/audience' specific - although I would personally avoifd scientific names given the register of the T1.

se the Wikipedia entry for variant namings.

Peer comments on this reference comment (and responses from the reference poster)
agree  Anthony Green: yes, I had thought of suggesting this, though the vernacular is better for the other plants in the list. Why not cobine the two and say "such as tick-bean (Vicia faba minor)" even though that requires playing around with the punctuation of the original
