parte di un antico teatro romano, a Nora in Sardegna (magari qualcuno lo conosce).
Si sono conservati i grossi blocchi e l'elevato, ma è privo del frontescena.

The back wall of the stage in a Roman theater, usually two or three storeys tall and elaborately decorated with columns and statues.

Il frontescena (scaenae frons) è una struttura architettonica a due o più piani coperta da una tettoia e alta più o meno quanto la cavea. Esso non è più distaccato dalla cavea ma costituisce con essa un unico organismo architettonico.
