Archaeology / Etruscans in the Latium region
Italian term or phrase: locali sarcofagi fittili con figure semidistese
Context: Basterebbe considerare la diversa tipologia dei contenitori funebri presenti in mostra: dalle arcaiche sepolture ad ossario con coperchio si passa alle intimistiche urnette a casetta sino ai locali sarcofagi fittili con figure semidistese dei quali il coperchio proveniente da Tuscanica rappresenta un eccezionale esemplare.

fictile sarcophaguses/burial caskets decorated with reclining figures

Explanation:
Locale sarcofago (plural, locali sarcofagO) sounds like a sarcophagus chamber, which seems to be used to describe egyptian tumbs, rather than Etruscan burial caskets/cinerary urns.

Fictile is used to describe a clay/terra(-)cotta artefact.
The plural of sarcophagus can be either -i or -uses. As an alternative, you may use burial casket or cinerary urn.

local clay sarcophagi featuring reclining figures

Explanation:
This is essentially a mix of the two previous answers.
First, I think blattanzi is right that "locali" means "local" here. As babsita writes, if it referred to the burial site, then the proper spelling would be "locali sarcofago" (it could be a typo, but I don't see any others in this excerpt). Moreover, if it were a burial chamber, then the phrase "dei quali il coperchio..." would not make sense: the word 'coperchio' must refer back to a sarcophagus rather than to a burial chamber.

However, I think "reclining" is more accurate than "semi-outstretched" -- partly because the latter term often refers to limbs, rather than the entire body.

Finally, I have added "featuring" instead of "with" or "decorated with". The Louvre photo babsita found shows essentially a reclining statue that forms the cover of the sarcophagus. Type "Etruscan sarcophagus" in a Google image search and you'll find that this is typical: the reclining figures are the main feature.
