Art/Literary - Archaeology | | Italian term or phrase: in asse | This term comes up repeatedly and I have found several ways of translating it.
I don't like "in line with" and "on the same axis", at least in this context.
I'd like some more ideas!
For example, in this case I think it means simply "in front" or "in clear view of"
