Italian term or phrase: A vista / a scomparsa

Ho trovato ‘foldaway’, andrebbe ‘foldaway into the panel’? Grazie mille a tutte le anime pie :)

I think in singht / hidden is the best (and as happens the simplest) option since I need 'hidden' to connect to an 'into the panel' expression and similar in the text, thanks! :=)

Explanation:
definition not used much in English while in Italy is all the rage. Cagliostro is still in the air. A door that slides into a hollow wall is "a scomparsa" a hinge that is unseen is "a scomparsa", a folding, sliding table topo is "a scomparsa". Get the idea?

Thank you very much, that's very good if 'standalone' but I need something to link to a 'into the panel' phrase. Thanks!
