Italian term or phrase: a doppia corsia
Quasi un secolo più tardi sarebbe stato intrapreso il rifacimento del quarto lato, il Pavaglione vecchio che, ricostruito nel 1879, si uniformava nella struttura architettonica al braccio di ponente ***a doppia corsia.***

The Pavaglione is in Lugo, a four-sided portico. Thank you :-)

double portico
Explanation:
Hi,
I've looked at some pictures and I think the corsia probably refers to the portico. I.e., the portico has four sides, each of which is double.

the market is held here.

The client backed up your theory Catherine, just like the portico on the west side it has a row of columns running down the middle. effectively making it a "double" portico. So thank you very much, and to Mara and Mimoza for your helpful suggestions.

double corridor/double archade

Explanation:
it could be something like:
double corridor / double archade west wing
or west wing made up of two corridors/archades
I don't exactly know if you can speak of 'aisles' in a portico, if it's possible, that would be another possibility.
let's wait and see someone else's opinion :-)
