I always seem to have difficulty in translating "infissi". Unfortunately, this time there aren't even any illustrations to help and so I am undecided whether to put down "window frame" or "door frame" or just "frame"......

disagree  Russell Jones: Sorry but "fittings" implies cupboards, sanitary fittings, fitted furniture etc. I would use "door and window frames" in full, since no distinction is made in the text.
