Italian term or phrase: capitolato figurato a oggetti
This is the immediate context:
6) Cfr. Antonio Canalini, “Il Libro del capitolato”, Flaccovio, Palermo, 2003.
Does this have an equivalent in English or is it home grown in Italy (unique to Italy) and waiting for a translator to coin a term for it in English?

Explanation:
it's just a try to "coin" the term Jim.

Il capitolato si ottiene direttamente dai disegni.

Thank you indeed Jim.
It's great to have the author's explanation 'cause the "coined" italian term was "meaningless".

Thank you Grace. I talked to the Author's assistant. He said "figurato" just meant "disegnato" so I went for "drawn object specification". It just means a drawing to accompany a written spec in a building contract.

Chapter - schetches of component parts

Explanation:
Chapter...
puoi dire : Schetckes of component parts ( vedo pero piu adatto questo)
