You know Simon, sometimes you want to make things clear, but if you read original English academic texts they are all but clear. I was once asked an opinion on a text. I said it was very badly translated, not clear at all. It wasn't a translation at all, it was by a senior lecturer in philosophy at a major English University. What a gaffe! |

Explanation: might work; I would prefer to transform it into a verb phrase rather than repeat 'mechanism', but I admit that's probably just personal stylistic taste
