Italian to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting / Aid projects
Italian term or phrase: presentazione del libro
An event where a book on sculpture is being 'presented' (no further context applicable: it is just a time and the phrase "presentazione del libro x" (taking place in a church)
The translation 'book presentation' doesn't convince me 100%, online I find it almost exclusively in Italian or other non-English translation contexts. Seems to me more of a 'promotion' than a presentation. 'Introduction' doesn't seem right either.
What if I were to put "presentation-promotion"? Or is there some other stock phrase for these promo events (it is part of a series of events dedicated to one particular sculptor) ?
Many thanks for urgent responses!

a book launch can happen in London, then the same book can be launched in Milan, New York, etc., or the launch can take place simultaneously in all places.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks Tom, but isn't a book launch a one-off (or at most, once per country)? Or can the book be 'launched' in lots of different towns (a 'launch tour' so to speak?

Asker: sorry, tom, perhaps I wasn't clear. For all I know, this book could have been 'launched' elsewhere in Italy over recent weeks. Would it still be a launch even if it isn't a 'prima'?
