A me viene in mente il muro del pianto, anche per via dei pugni chiusi, a battere un perche'.

Infossata forse con il significato di *quasi che il muro la inghiottisse* oppure *oppressa dal dolore, con le spalle curve*.

Ci provo:
propped up against the wall, with the wall engulfing her, her sorrow heavy on her shoulders, her fists tight, knocking as if she could find an answer to the why's and wherefore's of her existence
