Italian term or phrase: seduta
This term is being used to describe an antique divan. After the description, it says "Seduta 42." Any ideas?
seat depth 42 cm
I am no furniture expert, but here is an interesting citation, comparing different seat dimensions (with an interesting picture)
Larghezza di seduta: 43 e 48 cm.
Altezza seduta: standard 55 cm, alta 63 cm.
Profondità seduta: 42 cm.”

If I was a smart aleck
I'd say it obviously seats 42 people! pardon the silliness...
I think it may mean the depth of the seat - 42 cms?
Just a hunch
