Italian term or phrase: aspetti morfologici
Good morning. I know that this term has caused problems before, but the previous definitions don't seem to fit my context. Any help greatly appreciated:

Geomarketing...questo studio prende in considerazione i flussi commerciali, gli aspetti morfologici del territorio e i tempi stimati di viaggio dei clienti, ....all to offer a better service!

physical geography in context
Explanation:
You have to translate the whole term: "gli aspetti morfologici del territorio". This translation is based on an interpretation of "territorio" as meaning the land and not the people with it (not social and economic aspects). Aspetti morfologici, is the shape of the land, rivers, mountains, plains and so on. This is generally referred to as the Physical Geography. The physical geography of Italy is very varied".

physical nature

Explanation:
"The physical nature of the territory" is a reasonably colloquial way of expressing this idea in a non-specialist context.

As Jim and Simon say, you really need to get the word "physical" into your translation somewhere.

agree simon tanner: Yes - if the target style is informal, I think this works better; if formal I'd go for physical geography. Without more context, it's difficult to say. Either way, 'physical' is a must
