Italian to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Automotive / Cars & Trucks / tool catalogue | | Italian term or phrase: Blocchetto di spinta | From a catalogue entitled, Attrezzi revisione motore:
Blocchetto di spinta per anello di tenuta, used to hammer in crankshaft seals.
I was thinking "Seal thrust block", unless someone knows the exact term.
Thanks. |

| | crank seal installer/crankshaft seal installer | Explanation: The above is UK English
Sure..., sure.., word for word, both above have nothing in common.
That's quite usual in engine repair tools, as I have discovered, doing translations for an UK engine tool manufacturer from English into Italian, French and Spanish for the past 5/6 years.
A crank seal is more elaborate than an O-ring.
A search with Crank[shaft] thrust block raises hits with the meaning of an engine part.
If it were avaiable, a picture would help the search for ascertaining the denomination |
