1) allo sponsor viene garantita la visibilità del proprio logo, secondo le “tavole” precedenti su:
• lato vettura cupolone
• fronte vettura, alettoni anteriori
• tuta pilota, petto frontale
• divise ingegneri e meccanici, manica

I just haven't found a suitable translation for this after 1 hr searching on the web !! Thank you for your help !

If the field is "open-wheel" racing such as F1, I would suggest this. It came to mind because the original is referring to the side profile of the car.

neutral  philgoddard: Do you have any references? //That's a very good reference, but I can't see the word WROOM in the picture. I agree air intake is a possibility though.

  -> Here it is: http://www.circusf1.com/2011/01/alonso-chiude-wrooom-con-una... The article says the writing "WROOM" is on the 'cupolone'. Sounds like an ice-cream dessert in English, if you ask me...
