Mi sembra che single-trunk sia utilizzato parecchio in Inglese.

agree  BdiL: Cormo è (grosso modo) il fusto in botanica. Direi che trunk e stem sono praticamente equivalenti (nell'uso): il primo rimanda un po' più a un albero, però M-Webster dice "stem=the main trunk of a plant" (definiz. un po' più botanica). :-) Maurizio.

agree  BdiL: Cormo è (grosso modo) il fusto in botanica. Direi che trunk e stem sono praticamente equivalenti (nell'uso): il primo rimanda un po' più a un albero, però M-Webster dice "stem=the main trunk of a plant" (definiz. un po' più botanica). :-) Maurizio.

  -> ma monocormic? dici che è un calco? no, perché se non fosse stato per monocormic avrei semplicemente aggiunto habits&stems alla risposta della collega (te lo chiedo perché ho appena visto che sei un "agrario" :)
