Italian term or phrase: valore di uscita
Hi fellow holiday workers,
The company writing the report has actually divested its holding in AAA, but I'm not sure how to translate "valore di uscita" in this context:
"l valore di uscita della partecipazione in AAA, valutata con l”equity method, è al netto dell’ammortamento della differenza di consolidamento, iscritta nella voce partecipazioni..."

exit value
Explanation:
Waddya think?
The first site is entitled "Maximizing the value of your IT company" and it offers an in-depth discussion on selling a company -- certainly the case when one firm divests this type of asset.

Then there's "exit value" as listed below:
the net realizable value of an asset, i.e. its market price at the date of a balance sheet less the selling expenses. Exit values are effectively break-up values and are not consistent with the going-concern concept, which assumes that a business is continuing to trade.

Oops - I meant to write \"Maximizing the exit value of your company\". That\'s what I get for not taking Ferragosto off like the rest of the country.

Hi CB and Giuseppe
"Great minds think alike" is what I think. Anyway, who wants to take crummy ole ferragosto off to join a queue (line) to get to the sea - and who says we're gonna be working over ferrasettembre?
