I need to know if the term "enterprise" exists in the italian language, and if so, what its meaning is in English (localization project).

Dear Petra,
I'm not sure I understand your question - do you mean if in Italy we use "enterprise" as we use "computer" or "software"? If so the answer is no.
If you want a sure translation we need to know more context, but probably the word you need is "impresa".
