I need to translate this term. I have found the following definition, but somehow I don't think bankisation/bankization (although there are a coupl'a hits) are going to fit the bill!

Ooops, I'm a bit unsure of the correct procedure here...
Thank you all for your hard work on this difficult one. Your suggestions are certainly good for the definition I have given. Unfortunately, this is not applicable to my context, as I now realise thanks to Paolo (PML). Sorry. I found a reliable-looking Internet glossary and swallowed it hook, line and sinker. In the e-commerce sector the definition is probably correct, but "bancarizzazione" has revealed itself to be a bit of a wildcard.
