Italian term or phrase: giorni medi di copertura magazzin
Any ideas on this one? It's something about stock levels and is used in the text often as though it were a conventional index.
"I giorni medi di copertura dell’intero magazzino hanno evidenziato una tendenza alla diminuzione passando da 105 a 104 a 101 nei tre esercizi"
median inventory days
"Additionally, results for the December quarter reflect initial improvements in inventory management, though more visible signs should emerge as the year progresses.
For example, in December we expect median inventory days for the EMPS industry to decline five days from the September quarter vs. an average decline of one day in the past two years..."

average number of days of inventory
could be a translation. Even a Google search gave no result except a single unrelated instance (copertura as a... roof), so this must be an unusual expression and what you'll read below is just my interpretation of this rather cryptic text. I interpret this as the average time still unsold goods remain in warehouses before being shipped to dealers. So you might perhaps say something like: the average number of days inventory remains in warehouses decreased from 105 to 104 and 101 during the last 3 financial years. Hope I got it right, but couldn't swear on it. What do you think?
