Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
Italian term or phrase: Nel comunicare un tanto
Hi all -

In bringing a somewhat formally-worded business letter to a close I have this phrase which I can't quite translate properly into English:

Nel comunicare un tanto, con l'occasione, si inviano i migliori saluti.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks so much!

Explanation:
I guess (sic!), they are saying "whilst we are writing all this to you we might as well throw in our conventional right noises" :)

That is, more conventionally and conteporarily, "we remain, yours truly,..."

Explanation:
Translating this sentence directly into English isn't necessary to convey the message though. I think "respecfully" or "respectfully yours" would do the job just fine and is what is commonly used as a salutation in formal letters (and this Italian version is a long-winded way of saying that).

Don't translate it

Explanation:
It's just a meaningless formula. I would just translate "Si inviano i migliori saluti", which could be rendered as "With best wishes".
