Italian to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
Italian term or phrase: pari al 5Ø/00 (cinque per mille)
Contractual clause concerning penalties for late delivery:

La Società applicherà al Fornitore una penale pari al 5Ø/00 (cinque per mille) del corrispettivo complessivo previsto in Contratto.

Am I right in saying that the penalty = 0.5% of the overall consideration?

Maths is not my strong point!

agree  Russell Jones: I agree the "equal to" is redundant; "per mille" is used in English but is not understood by most.

of 0.5 (one half) percent

Explanation:
In English you would just put "of" for equal to: "... a penalty of 0.5 (one half) percent"
