Law/Patents - Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs / certificato dell'anagrafe | | Italian term or phrase: area coordinamento sociale e della comunicazione | the name of the office/department issuing a "certificato di residenza, cittadinanza e stato libero". No other context - it is just at the top of the certificate in question.
Any suggestions that don't sound like the translationese I am so tempted to use? And what on earth is coordinamento sociale when it's at home?

simon tanner: 3:14pm Mar 19, 2008: yes, in fact this is the first time I've seen this, perhaps because the certificate is issued by the ufficio AIRE (anagrafe italiani residenti all'estero) - since the person in question lives abroad
