Italian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs / Atto Giudiziario estero
Italian term or phrase: Prot.138/11 Reg.Not.Est.A
These abbreviations appear at the top of a summons/writ type letter from the criminal records office of a County/District Court. The appear near the date at the top of the page as:

"Prot.138/11 Reg.Not.Est.A Monza 6 agosto 2011"

I have translated the first part as "Ref:138/11..." but have no idea what the rest means or refers to so cannot offer my own attempt at this.

Ref. number 138/11 Registry of Notifications to Foreign Countries (section A?)
Explanation:
Considering the further info on context provided in
http://www.proz.com/kudoz/italian_to_english/certificates_di...

Ref. number 138/11 Registry of notifications to foreign countries
RRrotocollo 138/11 Registro Notifiche Estere (A)

(not sure about the A... it could another internal ref. number such as Volume or Sezione or Manuale ... )

see http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/justice_freedom_secur...
and
http://ec.europa.eu/justice_home/judicialatlascivil/html/ds_...

well... this is for within the EU in any case, so I hope it helps you to refine your reasearch in case the foreign country addressee is not in the EU

Ciao :-)

p.s.

the A , considering context (Atto giudiziario estero) should stand for Atto

So my amended suggestion is

Registry of Judicial Document Service in (EU) Member States
