Italian term or phrase: corso a lato
This is the transcript of results for a medical masters. At the very end there is a list proving which years the student registered at the university in. This appears in the following context:

"...il predetto ha ottenuto negli accademici sottoindicati (new line)
Le iscrizioni agli anni di CORSO A LATO specificate.
E stato immatricolato nell'anno accademico 2002/2003 all facolta...etc"

The source text could indicate either the years in which he attended the university or the years in which he was not *fuori corso* (i.e. in which up to then he had passed all the required exams.) I would use *attended the course of studi* if all the academic yeard indicated are in a consecutive order (i.e. don't skip any year) and *passed ------* if otherwise.
