In uscita dalla vasca di affioramento i reflui vengono inviati in un ___separatore di tipo lamellare___ (CPI) per un ulteriore separazione degli idrocarburi non separati nei precedenti step di trattamento.

It's for an oily waters sewer in a refinery.

I am pretty sure the CPI is an English acronym. But I always thought lamellar was a term for wood (laminated, etc).
