Detta nella trasmissione "C'e posta per te", è uno sfottò nei confronti di Maria De Filippi, considerata la boss assoluta della trasmissione con i postini che le fanno da scagnozzi. Quindi deve restare una traduzione letterale, altrimenti sarebbe stata pronunciata in italiano e non in siciliano.

Thanks, alla fine sei stato l'unico a capire il contesto vero di questo programma. Ho optato per "At your service" cosi per rendere l'idea che i postini sono lo staff della De Filippi. Quindi anche se non ho usato il tuo termine, il tuo commento e' stato quello che mi ha aiutato di piu'! Grazie.

  -> Ok ! Vedo che sei un attento osservatore del costume televisivo e di quel programma! Immaginavo che da siciliano quale sei avresti avuto una marcia in più rispetto a tutti quanti noi per contestualizzare meglio il significato di "baciamo le mani".

agree  xlationhouse: I kiss your hand, let me kiss your hand, allow me to kiss your hand (the latter 2 from translations of Tolstoy) would be more natural in English. I agree with the "kiss your hand" (singular) part, but not with the form, at least in English.
