Scusa rileggendo adesso la domanda mi accorgo che forse il personaggio sta dando del lei all'altro e non sta parlando di una terza persona, quindi dovresti adattare il dialogo o forse potresti anche dire "And I wouldn't bother going around telling people.../don't you even think of..."
