this is from a set of specifications for a wireless radio system for military use. The section in question begins as follows:

Server blade tipo A.
La soluzione offerta deve rispettare completamente le caratteristiche minime di seguito elencate:
- Tipologia Blade;
- Architettura di tipo modulare, scalabili.
...
Requisiti delle lame di calcolo:
- 2 processori per lama, di tipo Intel 5450;
- 32 GB RAM per lama.
"Lama" is clearly "blade", since the English term is used here, and I've translated "Server Blade" as "Blade Servers", but what are "lame di calcolo"? I know that blades are used for calculation but can't find any (relevant) hits for "calculation blades"! Can anyone please help? |
