Disponibile nelle seguenti versioni:
Fisso
da Incasso
*** Movimentato a scomparsa *** (solo per 15” e 12”).

(qui "movimentato" ha il senso di "motorizzato")
So che in francese, "monitor motorizzato a scomparsa" = "moniteur motorisé escamotable"

Clarification request(s) and response
elysee: 1:05pm Nov 7, 2005: URGENT - Rimango con dei dubbi... Ho pensato a "MOTORIZED RETRACTABLE MONITOR"...
Michele Fauble: 1:48pm Nov 7, 2005: There are 967 Google hits for 'motorized pull out and close monitor', 24 Google hits for 'motorised fold away screen', 29 for 'motorised retractable screen', 2 for 'motorised retractable monitor', 5 for 'motorised fold away monitor'. -
(projection screen 18'x20' - DSC - motorised retractable)
Rachel Fell: 5:03pm Nov 7, 2005: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=motorized+retractable...
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=motorised+retractable... -
Michele Fauble: 7:56am Nov 8, 2005: The Google numbers I have mentioned are for sites containing the English terms used for the device referred to in your question. (I don't see the need to "invent" a term if one already exists for the device. Or am I misunderstanding something here?) -
Ciao.
Michele Fauble: 7:41am Nov 9, 2005: I'm not at all taking anything badly. I think I was confused by your response ("Su GOOGLE dipende sempre dal modo in cui si fanno le ricerche, e dai contesti"), since the Google hits were from the same context as your question. -

motorised fold away screen
Explanation:
'a scomparso' is usually 'foldaway' and you can find these screens and monitors as accessories in many cars nowadays- couldn't see the picture but am pretty sure of what it is!

I don't think that the difference between 'ise' and 'ize'is all that important - isn't it just a Brit/US English difference really?

one last thing, these terms exist - no-one's inventing anything - i found this perfect example from a UK site - for a monitor like the one in elysee's picture:

agree S K: fold away may suggest particular method of storage whereas this option would better describe the method by which the monitor disappears

-> Thanks. I suggested this answer because it seemed to be the most common term for the type of device referred to (TFT 8" monitor).
