Italian to English translations [PRO] Construction / Civil Engineering / adhesives/glues | | Italian term or phrase: Tempo di maturazione, lavorazione, aggiustabilità, pedonabilità | These are values reported in various tables of technical specifications for a company's line of adhesives for floor and wall tiles:
Tempo di maturazione - 5-10 mins
Tempo di lavorazione > 6 hours
Tempo di aggiustabilità approx. 30 mins.
Tempo di pedonabilità after 18-24 hrs.
I've been reading English-language technical specs for tiling/adhesives and I'm not coming across much that convinces me they are parallel terms.
I'm guessing "maturazione" is "curing time", and, for "pedonabilità," I'm probably going to go with something like "May be walked upon after 18-24 hrs."
Can anyone confirm and/or does anyone have ideas for the others? Many thanks.
P.S. I've tried 10 times to change the subject from Civil/Engineering to Building/Construction, but Proz won't let me. |
