Italian to English translations [PRO]
Marketing - Cosmetics, Beauty / description of a beauty treatment package available at a luxury hotel
Italian term or phrase: sala nuvola
"Percorso rigenerante - dedicato a chi vuole rigenerare la pelle eliminando le impurità: il pacchetto comprende peeling corpo, seduta in ***sala nuvola***, trattamento aromatico viso, utilizzo dell’area SPA con piscina coperta/scoperta, sauna, bagno turco, area relax con tisaneria"
...
I'm currently thinking of "steam room" (partly as I need to distinguish it from "Turkish bath", which as you can see comes later in the sentence). Any comments, improvements? TIA :)

isolation tank
Explanation:
At spas 'sala nuvola' are the sensory deprivation tanks filled with saline (often epsom salt) water to provide a sense of weightlessness.

See web reference 1 for detailed description and alternative names - in particular 'float tank'.

I have just seen the links in the 'Reference Comments' and think some examples of 'isolation tanks' are also pointed out there.

These are not the hot/steam mist saunas.

I can only guess that they're called 'cloud' chambers in Italian because it feels like you're floating on a cloud when you sit in them.

cloud booth

Explanation:
steam room seems fine but it's nice to keep the element of 'cloud' as beauty treatments terms are sometimes not literal, but rather give a sense of something beautiful, like a cloud in this example.

Example sentence(s):
  • Some of the environments and treatments: massage booth, cloud booth, beauty booth, kneipp path, tropical rain shower, Turkish bath, cold fog shower, Finnish sauna, swimming pool, against current swimming, cervical blades, hydro massage, gym, solarium, fac
