as simply a list of courses and you pick and choose which ones you want, but the term is plural "corsi". The result would be a customised *programme* of courses.

it doesn't help that some of these courses are external courses for company employees and that other are courses for individuals (and that some are funded by the region/province while others are not)... The only thing all corsi a catalogo seem to have in common is that they're all professional one/two-day courses.

And to complicate matters further, there are also 'corsi ex-catalogo' (which luckily I don't have to translate)!!

I had the impression this was in a sense both made to measure AND standard, hence my post: i.e. you create your own course on the basis of standard modules. So you can pick which ones you want, but it's not tailor made in the normal sense, i.e. that the course is tailored to your needs by the course provider. Here, the course provider offers various modules, and you choose the ones most suited to your needs. Although, as Jim said, could be barking up the wrong tree...

La Regione Siciliana ha scelto di cogliere l’opportunità della “personalizzazione” della formazione attraverso l’introduzione della formazione “a catalogo” e dello strumento del “voucher formativo”. Il voucher formativo è un "buono" che permette ai destinatari della formazione (in parole povere al cittadino) di disporre di un finanziamento pubblico per accedere ai percorsi finanziabili proposti.
