Italian term or phrase: Giornata scientifica
HI all -

I am translating a CV of a doctor who has listed the various conferences and symposia she has attended. One referred to as a "Giornata scientifica" on the hormoanl treatment of breast cancer.

What would be the best translation into English? "Science Day" or "Scientific Day" isn't quite what we would say in the context (unless I am mistaken).

Any suggestions?
