Italian term or phrase: Apprendista Personale di Segreteria - Annualita' I
This 120 hour course was carried out externally by an apprentice training to be a technician in electronics during his 2 year apprenticeship. I'm not sure how to phrase this in English. Any suggestions gratefully received! TIA.

Secretarial trainee - one year
Explanation:
I think trainee definitely rather than apprentice which is rather old fashioned

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks, Isabelle. I went with Office Worker Trainee in the end and agree with you that trainee is much better than apprentice in this context, although it is still appropriate for trades.
