(HV/HT) wire tang/s

Explanation:
it's the end of the wire that goes into the clamp. It's a sort of a wrap that provides better contact with and a tighter fit into the clamp.

Ciao, Mara. Just for the record: wire tang is exactly that: a hollow stud, wrapping around the cable/wire end to insure a snag fit into the clamp. Look at my explanation. Anyway, it doesn't matter... what the client wans the client gets!

Notes to answerer
Asker: thank you Michael for your help. I ended up asking the client, who explained it's not the end of the wire, but it's something like a device where the cable goes in. They also told me to use 'stud'. Thank you anyway!

Asker: Thanks Michael for the further explanation. Yes, what the client wants, the client gets - that's how it usually works :-) In this case they've also explain that it should be something different anyway, it's not simply a hollow stud wrapping around the cable, but something bigger like a solid, non-flexible structure. Have a good one!

Asker: Ciao Valeria. Grazie. Il mio dubbio sta proprio lì. HO trovato varie possibilità, ma facendo anche diverse ricerche sull'argomento in inglese, non sono ancora riuscita a trovare nulla che corrisponda...e brancolo ancora nel buio...
