Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Process control screens
Italian term or phrase: a display od a sinottico
This comes from the description of the control system for the fire protection installation in an industrial plant.

"La centrale dovrà essere dotata di sistema di visualizzazione *a display od a sinottico*"

They are making a distinction between two different types of displays. To complicate things, they are using the word "display" to designate one of them.

All suggestions to distinguish the two are welcome.
