It seems like this one is probably artery, but I'm including it just in case someone knows better:

arteria, costituita da un collegamento seriale di linee ad alta tensione, e relativi nodi elettrici intermedi, i cui estremi sono connessi a piu di una stazione di trasformazione della rete ad altissima tensione.
