Italian term or phrase: battuta
Describing the risks of automatic sliding and revovling door systems.

"Per automatismi a singola anta, evitare il sormonto in chiusura tra anta mobile e struttura fissa, inoltre se lo spessore delle ante mobili e inferiore a 4cm sulla battuta va sostituito il classico spazzolino con una gomma per tutta l'altezza dell'anta."

"Rischio - cesoiamento delle dita. Prevedere una gamma sulla dell'anta e se necessario anche sul retro."

I am at a loss for what this could be! Is there a specialist meaning of this word?

doorstop
Explanation:
I think this is a long strip attached to the doorframe on the vertical side away from the hinges, to form a rebate. My DIY manual has a diagramme where it calls this strip a doorstop.

Be warned, however that a door stop is normally an object that one puts on the floor, usually to hold a door open. My DIY manual is using the word with a different meaning.

or door stop - my Collins DIY Manual (2001) gives doorstop, many websites give door stop.

door frame

Explanation:
Battuta is the door frame or simply the frame.

The text is talking about automatic door systems with single panel. The overlapping between the sliding/revolving panel and the door frame (struttura fissa) shall be avoided....

As to the term "Rischio di cesoiamento" the Machinery Directive and other relevant standards define this risk as "Shearing risk"

Moreover I think that "gamma sull'anta" is a mistake, it is probably "gomma sull'anta" that is a rubber pad along the panel.

Hope this can help you.
