Italian term or phrase: controtavolo folle

As before, Welding machine:
La saldatura viene eseguita con pezzi in rotazione posizionati e bloccati a mezzo di adeguate attrezzature applicate su un tavolo rotante motorizzato e su un controtavolo folle. Per seguire il profilo da saldare, il movimento di rotazione dei pezzi viene interpolato con due assi cartesiani motorizzati (Y-Z) sui quali è applicata la torcia.

Explanation:
there is something kssing here. Cross tbale is a sort of welding machine but folle can opnly be referred to the gearing. If this is correct then it could mean the crosstable is not engaged, but I would ask the Client
