Italian to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Engineering (general) / Heating | | Italian term or phrase: marcia forzata | | I'm translating the manual for an electric radiator which includes among the operating modes "marcia forzata" described as follows: "La modalità marcia forzata permette di riscaldare la stanza o asciugare le salviette e gli indumenti più velocemente. L’apparecchio scalda per due ore continuamente, indipendentemente dalla temperatura impostata in precedenza. Dopo due ore dall’attivazione la funzione “Marcia Forzata“ si disattiva automaticamente". In practice, it simply means that the radiator is constantly on without thermostatic regulation for a period of two hours. I'm thinking of putting "forced on" mode, but I'm not convinced by the finds I get when googling. Anyone have a better idea? Thanks. |
