Translating a patent on an electrolytic apparatus for treating wastewaters.
This section is part of the claim and defined the apparatus itself.

I think that the term here indicated means "on the underside" or similar. Any confirmation?

Explanation:
Without seeing a diagram it's kind of hard to know, as engineers tend to stretch their prepositions a bit in Italian patents.

I think there are 2 pipes, or segregated sections of pipes, which run side by side, or in an over-under configuration.

Asker: Thanks, this is a pretty good option. I think that the tank is in the middle and one pipe flows in from the top and another flows out from the bottom.
