Italian to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / banking
Italian term or phrase: banca proponente
what would this be called in English? The definition in my context is:
- BANCA PROPONENTE (Banca Attiva) - installa il proprio programma di gestione del servizio di Corporate Banking Interbancario (CBI) e abilita tutte le banche ed i conti interessati richiesti dall'Azienda pone come interfaccia verso il sistema interbancario;
b.. si fa carico dello scambio delle disposizioni e delle informazioni con le altre banche;
c.. garantisce la sicurezza delle informazioni attraverso l'archiviazione su supporti di memoria permanente e l'applicazione di salvataggi periodici;
d.. garantisce la riservatezza delle informazioni, grazie all'impiego di appositi sistemi di cifratura;
e.. effettua il controllo dei dati;
f.. cura l'installazione del software CBI sul computer dell'impresa;

I have found loads of things like: processing bank, forwarding bank, contracting bank, or even client-side bank / customer service provider / customer payment/biller provider/ or was thinking along the lines of interbank remote service provider/aggregator but I'm wondering if there's some ready-made and much simpler solution??

Basically it's a bank (either a land one or even a virtual one) that provides a virtual on-line consolidation service that a customer (either private or corporate) can access from his own PC/inhouse system and manage all his interbank relations - both ingoing and outgoing. So, I need a pretty generic term that covers all this but haven't been able to hit the nail on the head at all.
Would be grateful for any help you can give.
ps. in the same translation I also have banca assuntrice/mittente/ricevente/domiciliataria so need a different term for the banca proponente.

The Bank providing facilities

Proponente in legal terms is as simple as Proposer as in the Proposer of insurance, but can also be Offeror, Promoter - but this is all contract law stuff. How about Promoting Bank or the bank providing facilities. I think that you already have come up with some good terms; however, a bank is legally a bank and is different from a provider so, if this is your case I think you need to include the word Bank in your context.
Good luck
