Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
Italian term or phrase: di consumo (see context)
This is from the Cost of Goods Sold section in an Income Statement:

Costi per materie prime, sussidiarie, di consumo e di merci.

Could it be "consumables"? This is an electronics firm.

[In case anyone saw an earlier similar question - you are right, but I closed it inadvertantly. It was better split into two questions/terms anyway.]

I suppose you inadvertently deleted by previous answer ;-) This is one caption (probably best as one term) on the old Italian (and continental European value added type - before the introduction of IAS/IFRS) income statement presentation. This presentation is very seldom used in UK/US and therefore has no real equivalent. One fairly standard translation is "Raw materials, subsidiary materials and products" Oftern where is "work in progress" in the same caption.

Thanks! For the phrase I am using

Raw and ancillary materials, consumables and products

Work-in-progress adjustments are under Revenues (which is strange because I remember in my old company we had them under COGS)
