Bus/Financial - Finance (general)
Italian term or phrase: INDENNITA' TFR SMOB.A FONDI
This is in a list of operating expenses.

I have already translated TFR as "End-of-service benefit" (although many would use "severance", it's really not the same).

But SMOB. A FONDI??

Any ideas? Thanks!

End of service benefit, use/liquidation of the provision
Explanation:
The new law means this provision (often called a fund in the sense of a penision fund, but in accounting terms it is a provision/liability) set aside by firms must be fully paid out (will disappear) and no longer added to. End of service benefit is probably a better translation than severance, but the standard (and misleading) translation used for years is severance fund/provision/payments. If you change it after 50 years, especially just before its funeral, somebody might get confused.

Smobilizzo is change something from immobilizazione to il famoso "che non costituisce immobilizazion" and that is from fixed to current, but often in the sense that the most current stuff you can have is cash so it is also often used to mean sell. I have asked a client who knows finanicial Italian very well and she had to get on the phone to ask them what they did. Yep they sold them all so translate sold.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks, Jim. So, SMOB. = smobilizzo or "disinvestment, unfreezing" as in one of my dictionaries? I don't have much space (this is in a table) so liquidation of end-of-service benefit should suffice?
