automatic return of securities
Explanation:
"rientro dei titoli" minus kudoz gets one hit. Not a standard term so we are guessing. If the securities are borrowed, then rientro might obviously be the automatic return of the securities.
Curiously I looked (briefly) at the last published balance sheet of Bear Stearns, the big US bank that went bust very recently. Half its assets were "borrowed securities" (normally when you borrow something, you have a liability to pay give it back). Maybe they were securitised mortgages which only the Fed would buy.autom
