I am tempted just to use "savings management"(several examples in Google), but I have a suspicion that "asset management" might be better. What would the finance gurus say?

agree  Dominic Currie: that's what I use. Re Jim's comment below another alternative is "investment management" see wikipedia entry at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Investment_management

  -> It does tend to get over used. English text will make far greater use of terms like "fund management", while Italian clients and agencies tend to insist on blanket use of assets under management.
