Italian term or phrase: insussistenza dell'attivo
Hello,
does this translate as 'inexistent assets'?
Thanks in advance
a causa delle perdite registrate nella fase di avvia dell'attivita e di un'insussistenza dell' attivo

volgil

prior year loss
Explanation:
This is the technical term for when you expected to earn income in one year, but then the following year you discover that you didn't earn it, for example if invoices recorded in one year are found not to be paid in the next.
An insussistenza attiva is offsetting entry for a sopravvenienza passiva.

BTW the term "prior year loss" is also used in the simpler sense of losses actually recognised in previous years which are carried forward for tax purposes.
