Italian to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) | | Italian term or phrase: tesoreria enti | Could someone please explain what this term means?
In my particular context it is used without context on a purchase order for a software license: "...per progetto "Tesoreria Enti"
However, in searching for a translation, I noticed that many banks use this term in their title.
The only translation I found was "Authority Treasury" which does not sound right unless taken to mean "Treasury for Public Authorities"?? |

| | local authority treasury | Explanation: It is Italian bank-speak for a treasury service banks offer to local authorities. Some people translate local authority along US lines as "public administration". The bank may actually have a sort of branch inside local government offices to provide this service.

To Judith: is said above may have a sort of branch. In fact very often the reference it to the actual branch is self. So in full you would get something like "local authority treasury managment service branch", which could be abbreviated in various ways. But I agree with you it is a question of "treasury management". |
